About the role#
Commonfund is hiring an accounting intern to join our team in Norwalk. This is a hybrid role requiring three days per week in the office. The position is available immediately and offers flexible hours to accommodate school schedules. You will work 15-20 hours per week during the school year, with the potential for additional hours during the summer.
What you'll do#
- Prepare month end journal entries for corporate entities.
- Organize, process, and code invoices for payment.
- Process outgoing wires and manage cash activities.
- Assist the team with annual audit and tax engagements.
- Support special projects and financial analysis.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in accounting or finance.
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
