About the role#
The Finance & Accounting Analyst internship is a 10-week summer program based at the PIMCO headquarters in Newport Beach, California. This role provides exposure to the firm's financial operations, accounting practices, and strategic decision-making processes. Interns work within a global team of over 100 professionals to support the firm's financial management.
What you'll do#
- Provide financial analysis and reporting to enable strategic business initiatives.
- Participate in financial planning and analysis projects.
- Support accounting and controls functions.
- Assist with daily financial operations.
- Collaborate with the Finance team across various areas including Treasury, Tax, and Client Billing.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate degree program, specifically in Finance or Accounting.
- A minimum 3.4 cumulative GPA on a 4.0 scale.
- Business proficiency in English.
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting and finance principles.
- Ability to commit to a full-time schedule for the duration of the 10-week program.
