About the role#
Our Engineering Summer Internship Programme is designed to mirror our Engineering Associate Programme. This 9-week experience gives you a clear look at what a career in technology and engineering at LSEG looks like. You will work on real projects and contribute to team success, just as you would in a graduate role.
What you'll do#
Interns explore potential career paths across our D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, and I&C Engineering functions. Depending on your skills and business needs, you may focus on:
- Development and programming
- Business analysis
- Tech project management
What you'll need#
- You are currently in your junior year of undergraduate studies and will complete all course requirements in summer 2028.
- You are studying a STEM subject.
- You demonstrate an interest in technology through work experience, extracurricular activities, or academic projects.
- You have an interest in financial markets and a curiosity for data.
- You can analyze information to draw conclusions and propose solutions.
- You are able to connect the dots and think creatively.
- You demonstrate focus, resilience, and flexibility.
- You possess strong communication skills and work well with others.

- Location: New York City, New York
- Term: Summer 2027 (June to August)
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office)
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship
