About the role#
This 9-week summer internship offers a look into the business operations of LSEG. You will join one of our flagship trading services or clearing houses, working as an individual contributor to support the product lifecycle. This program is designed to mirror our full-time graduate roles, providing you with real responsibilities and exposure to our teams.
What you'll do#
- Solve problems for FX customers and maintain existing client relationships.
- Conduct research analysis into global markets, including debt listings, valuations, and shareholder or geographic analysis.
- Deliver business intelligence, strategic initiatives, and operational improvements.
- Monitor and analyze risks, including interpreting data for risk projects and reporting.
- Assist with the product lifecycle and collaborate with teams to develop specialist skills.
What you'll need#
- You are a penultimate year undergraduate student expecting to complete your course requirements in summer 2027.
- You have a demonstrable interest in financial markets through your studies, work, or extracurricular activities.
- You possess a curiosity for data and the ability to analyze information to propose solutions.
- You can connect the dots and think strategically.
- You demonstrate focus, resilience, and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands.
- You have strong communication skills and work well with others.
- You hold the legal right to work in the United States without restrictions.

- Location: New York City, New York.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June to August).
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office).
- Employment: Full-time, paid internship.
