About the role#
Our Engineering Summer Internship Programme is designed to mirror our Engineering Associate Programme. You will gain insight into a career in technology and engineering at LSEG by working on real projects. This 9-week internship allows you to contribute to our organization and explore potential career paths across our D&A, Markets, Risk Intelligence, FTSE Russell, and I&C Engineering functions.
What you'll do#
- Perform tasks in development, programming, business analysis, or tech project management.
- Align your skills and interests with the needs of the business to support specific team goals.
- Participate in the daily success of the organization alongside our permanent staff.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the junior year of an undergraduate degree, with graduation expected in summer 2028.
- A major in a STEM subject, such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
- Demonstrated interest in technology through work experience, academic projects, or extracurricular activities.
- Curiosity for data, an ability to analyze information, and a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Interest in financial markets and how technology supports the business.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
- Resilience and the flexibility to adapt to changing demands.

- Location: Boston, Massachusetts.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June to August).
- Modality: Hybrid (3 days per week in the office).
- Employment: Full-time internship.
- Compensation: Paid internship.
