About the role#
The Project Management and Business Analysis internship is a 10-week summer program designed for students who want to support enterprise initiatives. You will work on projects that improve operational efficiency, support digital transformation, and enhance the experience for our financial advisors. This role involves collaborating across business and technology teams to solve complex challenges and drive strategic outcomes.
What you'll do#
- Support project planning, execution, and governance activities across technology and business initiatives.
- Gather, analyze, document, and validate business and functional requirements from key stakeholders.
- Create process flows, business requirements documents (BRDs), user stories, and workflow diagrams to support solution design.
- Analyze current business processes to identify opportunities for automation and operational improvement.
- Track project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, and risks to ensure successful execution.
- Collaborate with project managers, product managers, and technology teams while participating in Agile ceremonies.
- Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), defect management, and solution validation.
- Develop status reports, presentations, and communication materials for leadership audiences.
- Conduct research and data analysis to support business cases and strategic initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems (MIS), Business Analytics, Project Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work from one of our primary office locations.
- Familiarity with project management tools, Agile methodologies, or data visualization software is a plus.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, 40-hour per week, paid internship for Summer 2027.
- Locations: Fort Mill, South Carolina or Austin, Texas.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $25.00 to $30.00 per hour, depending on skills, experience, and location.
