About the role#
The Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department develops guidance section electronics architectures. Interns in this role collaborate with engineers to design, analyze, and test electrical subsystems. You will work in a team environment to solve technical problems and support development programs.
What you'll do#
- Troubleshoot electronics in a lab or production environment down to the component level.
- Perform system and circuit level analysis, including analog and digital circuit modeling.
- Support failure investigations, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Conduct integration and test activities at the subassembly level.
- Generate test procedures and plans, document test results, and present findings to technical teams.
- Develop interconnect models between various subsystems.
- Interact with multi-discipline groups and suppliers.
- Travel to test areas for support or troubleshooting as needed (less than 10%).
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or Mathematics.
- Actively enrolled in your degree program through the completion of the internship.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance.
- Ability to lift 15 lbs.
