About the role#
This internship provides an introduction to the public accounting profession. You will work with multiple supervisors on a variety of client engagements and build a foundation for your career in tax.
What you'll do#
- Apply your accounting knowledge to client work using firm technology.
- Shadow tax professionals across all levels of the organization.
- Participate in team building and training initiatives.
- Complete a marketing or research project and present your findings.
- Attend firm social functions including lunches, happy hours, and community service projects.
What you'll need#
- You are a junior or senior enrolled in an accredited accounting, finance, or business administration program, and are two years from graduation.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher is preferred.
- Proficiency with computers and spreadsheet software.
- The ability to travel to client sites, including frequent same-day travel.
- You must be eligible to work in the United States. We do not provide work sponsorship for this role.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time position based in Orland Park, Illinois.
- The internship takes place during the Summer of 2028.
- This is a paid position with a salary range of $30.00 to $40.00 per hour.
