About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Willmar, Minnesota. You will work on-site alongside Partners, clients, and peers to gain experience in tax return preparation, accounting, and attestation projects. The program focuses on professional development through mentorship and hands-on project work across industries like renewable energy, agriculture, manufacturing, and construction.
What you'll do#
- Contribute your ideas and perspectives to the team.
- Network with Christianson staff at social events.
- Meet with your mentor for regular feedback and professional development discussions.
- Identify and carry out other projects as assigned.
- Work alongside Partners, clients, and peers.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Accounting.
- A major and overall GPA of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including time management and planning.
- Ability to work effectively in a complex team environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours when needed and travel to client sites.
