About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Audit and Assurance internship based in St. Louis, Missouri. The position runs for eight weeks, starting in June 2028 and ending in late July 2028. This is an on-site role.
What you'll do#
- Conduct audits of client financials to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
- Assist with determining audit methodology and performing risk assessments.
- Examine records to verify proper recording and authorization of transactions, policy compliance, and adherence to laws.
- Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations.
- Prepare portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accounting, finance, or related curriculum at the junior level or higher.
- Graduation date of December 2029 or earlier.
- A plan to pursue a CPA license.
- Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
