About the role#
Anders is hiring a Compliance/Loan Review Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid internship running for 8 weeks from June 2027 through late July 2027. You will work on-site at our offices in St. Louis and Chesterfield, Missouri.
What you'll do#
- Review client records to ensure compliance with anti-money laundering and federal consumer protection regulations.
- Assess whether clients have appropriately identified risks within their loan portfolios.
- Examine records to confirm transactions are properly authorized, recorded, and compliant with relevant laws and internal policies.
- Prepare reports detailing your findings and recommendations for client companies.
- Assist with compliance, internal audit, and loan review engagements.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting, finance, or related degree program at the junior level or higher.
- Ability to commit to a minimum 25-hour work week.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Previous experience in a bank or credit union is helpful but not required.
