About the role#
Anders is looking for an Audit and Assurance Intern to join the team for the Winter 2028 term. This internship runs from January 2028 through the last week of March 2028. You will work on-site at our St. Louis office.
What you'll do#
- Conduct audits of client financials to ensure compliance with GAAP and other accounting standards.
- Assist with determining audit methodology and performing risk assessments.
- Examine records to verify proper recording and authorization of transactions.
- Check for compliance with internal policies and applicable laws.
- Prepare reports detailing audit findings and recommendations.
- Draft portions of compilation, review, and audit engagements.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accounting, finance, or related curriculum at the junior level or higher.
- Graduation date of December 2029 or earlier.
- A plan to pursue your CPA.
- Ability to commit to a minimum 25-hour work week.
- Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
