About the role#
As a Tax Intern during the summer of 2027, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team. This role involves researching tax issues, planning, and preparing supporting work papers for various projects. You will also participate in team-building exercises and office community activities to build professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist in reviewing tax preparations.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff.
- Work collaboratively with client team members to build rapport and strong relationships.
- Participate in team-building exercises and other assigned projects.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- A minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including planning and time management.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
Location & details#
- This is a paid, full-time internship based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.
- This position requires in-person attendance at least three days per week at the office or client site.
