About the role#
As a Tax Intern during the Winter 2027 term, you will gain exposure to tax procedures including consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside partners, senior executives, and peers as part of an engagement team. This role involves tax research, planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various projects. You will also have the opportunity to participate in office community activities and build professional relationships.
What you'll do#
- Review data input, identify and resolve technical tax issues, and assist with tax preparations.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess tax issues while providing information to senior staff.
- Collaborate with client team members to build rapport and strong relationships.
- Work on client engagements across a variety of industries.
- Connect with fellow interns and staff at social events and team-building exercises.
- Meet with a mentor for regular feedback and professional development discussions.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Willingness to work additional hours as needed and travel to client sites.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.

- Modality: On-site (requires in-person attendance at least three days per week).
