About the role#
As a Tax Intern during the Winter 2027 term, you will gain exposure to tax consulting and return preparation. You will work alongside Partners, Senior Executives, and peers as a member of the engagement team. This role involves tax research, tax planning, and the preparation of supporting work papers for various projects. You will also participate in office community activities and team-building exercises.
What you'll do#
- Review data input and resolve technical tax issues.
- Assist in the review of tax preparations.
- Respond to inquiries from the IRS and other taxing authorities.
- Identify, research, and assess various tax issues while providing information to senior staff.
- Work collaboratively with client team members to build rapport and strong relationships.
- Meet with a mentor for regular feedback and professional development.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.
- Minimum overall GPA of 3.0/4.0.
- Excellent analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Demonstrated project management skills, including project planning and time management.
- Ability to work efficiently in a complex team environment.
- Ability to travel on short notice and work additional hours as necessary.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship.
