About the role#
This 10-week summer internship provides a comprehensive learning experience within the Wealth Advisor Group. You will work in a team-based environment that delivers investment advice and guidance over the phone. This program is designed to help you develop a deeper understanding of the financial services industry while contributing to key initiatives that support our advisors and their clients.
What you'll do#
- Shadow financial advisors and the operations team to learn industry best practices.
- Attend advice delivery training to prepare for a potential career as a financial advisor.
- Prepare for and work towards passing the Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam.
- Assist with client communication, including scheduling meetings and preparing presentations.
- Provide general administrative support to financial advisors and support professionals.
- Report on industry trends, market conditions, and financial regulations.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving client service processes.
- Support the team by participating in client outreach campaigns.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an expected graduation date of December 2027 or May 2028.
- Minimum 3.0 GPA.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in the office).
- Must be local to the Tempe office.
- Offer is contingent upon a successful background screening.
Location & details#
- Location: Tempe, Arizona.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1, 2027 - August 6, 2027).
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week.
- Work Modality: Hybrid.
- Compensation: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour, depending on skills and experience.
