About the role#
This internship provides an opportunity to join the broadly syndicated bank loan team at Invesco Senior Secured Management. You will spend nine weeks during the summer of 2027 working alongside investment professionals to gain experience in private credit and leveraged finance markets. This is a full-time, paid position based in our New York office.
What you'll do#
- Build knowledge of leveraged finance, CLO, and high yield bond markets.
- Develop credit analysis and financial modeling skills to assist in the preparation of credit proposals.
- Assist in the ongoing monitoring and review of existing transactions, including historical financial analysis and cash flow projections.
- Prepare presentations, summaries, and other materials for internal and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on assigned tasks and initiatives.
- Research industry trends, financial statements, and market data.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor’s degree program as a rising Junior graduating by summer 2027.
- A minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale.
- Demonstrated interest in investments.
- Authorization to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. We do not provide employment-based immigration sponsorship for this program.
- Preferred majors include Finance, Accounting, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science.

- Modality: This is an on-site role. Employees are expected to work from the office at least four days each week.
