About the role#
This 11-week Retail Management Internship provides hands-on experience in managing high-volume travel centers. You will work alongside experienced leaders to learn facility operations, team management, and customer service. The program covers store, fuel, food, and truck care operations to prepare you for a career in the industry.
What you'll do#
- Participate in training across store, fuel, food, and truck care operations.
- Learn how to drive sales, manage costs, and support profitability.
- Develop skills in team leadership, staffing, and employee development.
- Deliver customer service and resolve issues as they arise.
- Assist with merchandising, inventory management, and operational standards.
- Enforce safety, compliance, and company policies.
- Collaborate on a cross-functional project with other interns and leaders.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a 2- or 4-year degree program in business, management, hospitality, or a related field.
- Willingness to learn by doing in a customer-focused environment.
- Ability to navigate computer programs, systems, and technology tools.
- Ability to successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Physical ability to talk, hear, move around, and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Clear vision to perform job duties.
