About the role#
This is a full-time, paid Pharmacy Student position based in Waterloo, Ontario. The role involves working on-site to support pharmacy operations through automation, inventory management, and prescription preparation.
What you'll do#
- Generate automation reports using Kroll pharmacy management software.
- Package medications into unit dose pouches using automation machinery.
- Manage automation workflows to meet established targets and schedules.
- Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified minimum stock levels.
- Follow a step-by-step workflow process to prepare medication orders for patients.
- Perform machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Place orders for pharmacy supplies and specialty items as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and manage drug recalls.
- Label medication and over-the-counter products, including the preparation of blister packs and mixtures.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences or Nursing program.
- Previous experience with Kroll software.
- Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively within a team.
- Ability to maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

- Term: Rolling.
- Salary: $20.90 to $28.60 per hour, depending on experience and location.
- Candidates aged 18 or older must complete a criminal background check.
