Pharmacy Student

About the role#

As a Pharmacy Student, you will support pharmacy operations by managing automated workflows and assisting in the preparation of medication orders. This role focuses on accuracy and efficiency in a clinical retail environment, requiring a commitment to maintaining inventory standards and supporting team-based patient care.

What you'll do#

• Generate automation reports and manage workflow to meet established targets using Kroll pharmacy management software.
• Package medications into unit dose pouches using automated machinery and perform necessary maintenance or troubleshooting.
• Maintain pharmacy inventory at pre-specified minimum stock levels and assist with inventory counts and drug recalls.
• Prepare medication orders for patients by following a structured, step-by-step workflow process.
• Label medications and over-the-counter products, including the preparation of blister packs and mixtures.
• Coordinate the preparation of packages for shipment to ensure timely delivery, particularly for nursing home orders.

What you'll need#

• Current enrollment in a Pharmaceutical Sciences or Nursing program.
• Previous experience with Kroll software and Long Term Care pharmacy operations.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to maneuver quickly and consistently for extended periods.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills with a focus on teamwork.
• A positive attitude, a strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn and adapt to different departments as needed.
• Ability to problem-solve and make independent decisions.

• Work Modality: On-site.
• Employment Type: Full-time.
• Compensation: $20.90 - $28.60 per hour.
