About the role#
Lipscomb Academy is hiring an IT Student Worker to join the help desk team. This is a part-time position designed for active students who want to gain experience in IT and customer service. You will work on campus with a schedule that fits around your classes. The role is capped at 20 hours per week during the school year.
What you'll do#
- Enter and route tickets in the IT Ticketing System.
- Provide technical support to students and employees for login, Wi-Fi, network, hardware, software, and mobile device issues.
- Assist users through walk-ups, phone calls, and chat.
- Identify problems and guide clients through corrective steps using provided resources.
What you'll need#
- You must be a currently enrolled student at Lipscomb.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience in technology or customer service is helpful but not required.
- Ability to provide phone support and maintain a quality focus.
- General technological proficiency with computers and mobile devices.

- This position is located in Nashville, Tennessee.
- Work is on-site.
- This is a paid, part-time role.
- You may be eligible for Federal Work Study.
