About the role#
Students assist in the operation of athletic events at Lipscomb Academy. This role supports the execution of sporting events, ensuring that games run smoothly from setup to breakdown.
What you'll do#
- Perform essential game day tasks including setup before games and breakdown after games.
- Serve as ball handlers for soccer and volleyball matches.
- Manage ticket sales, ushering, and concession operations.
- Assist with additional duties as requested by the game day manager.
- Report for duty one hour before game time and remain for approximately 30 minutes after the game concludes.
What you'll need#
- Maintain strict timeliness, as game operations depend on all positions being filled by the start time.
- Remain aware of weather conditions, as outdoor games proceed regardless of rain or shine.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study is preferred.
- Open to students majoring in Kinesiology, Real Estate, Psychology, Business Administration, or Communications.
