About the role#
Lipscomb Academy is seeking a Chemistry Lab Assistant to support laboratory operations. This part-time student worker position is on-site in Nashville, Tennessee, and is available on a rolling basis. The role may be eligible for Federal Work Study.
What you'll do#
- Assist the professor with conducting experiments.
- Provide guidance to students with weekly coursework.
- Prepare laboratory setups for class sessions.
- Conduct safety checks to ensure a secure environment.
- Maintain overall lab cleanliness and organization.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student at Lipscomb University.
- Successful completion of the specific chemistry course you are assisting.
- Demonstrated familiarity with laboratory equipment.
- Ability to provide effective assistance during experiments.
- Strong communication skills.
