About the role#
Parking Attendant Student Workers manage parking and traffic operations during campus events. This role involves overseeing access to reserved spaces and ensuring that only approved visitors use designated areas. This is a paid, part-time position with flexible hours.
What you'll do#
- Manage parking and traffic flow during campus events.
- Monitor and control access to parking lots and garages.
- Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professionalism.
- Direct traffic and guide drivers to available spaces during peak times.
- Provide assistance to individuals with special parking needs.
- Help maintain clean and organized parking facilities.
What you'll need#
- Ability to greet and assist visitors in a professional manner.
- Skills in monitoring and controlling access to restricted areas.
- Experience in directing traffic.
- Capacity to assist individuals with special parking needs.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study may apply.
- Students from majors including Business Administration, Communications, Public Health, Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, Marketing, or Logistics are encouraged to apply.
Location & details#
- Location: Nashville, Tennessee.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Schedule: 1 to 20 hours per week, with shifts typically lasting 2 to 4 hours to align with campus events.
- Compensation: $10 to $15 per hour.
