About the role#
This position supports campus events by managing parking and traffic operations. Student workers assist with the coordination of parking facilities and ensure that reserved spaces remain accessible only to approved guests. This is a part-time role offering 1 to 20 hours per week, with shifts typically lasting 2 to 4 hours to align with campus event schedules.
What you'll do#
- Manage parking and traffic flow during campus events.
- Oversee access to reserved event spaces and parking lots.
- Greet and assist students, faculty, staff, and visitors with professionalism.
- Direct drivers to available parking spaces during peak times.
- Provide assistance to individuals with special parking needs.
- Maintain clean and organized parking facilities.
What you'll need#
- Ability to greet and assist visitors in a professional manner.
- Experience or capability in directing traffic and monitoring access.
- Capacity to assist individuals with special parking needs.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study may apply.
- Students pursuing majors in Business Administration, Communications, Public Health, Human Resources, Sociology, Psychology, Marketing, or Logistics are encouraged to apply.
