About the role#
The Civil Engineering Teaching Assistant supports faculty and course operations within the department. This student worker position involves direct collaboration with instructors to facilitate course objectives and assist with various academic tasks.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside the instructor to provide course support.
- Assist with the execution of lab experiments.
- Provide feedback on student assignments.
- Host office hours to support student learning.
- Fabricate prototypes as required for coursework.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a civil engineering student at Lipscomb University.
- Eligibility for Federal Work Study.
- Understanding of lab experiment procedures.
- Ability to provide constructive feedback on assignments.
- Capability to host office hours for students.
