About the role#
This internship supports the integration of large, custom robotic welding systems. You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly and troubleshooting. Successful interns may have the opportunity to advance into Mechanical, Electrical, Software, or Applications Engineering departments.
What you'll do#
- Work hands-on in the assembly and testing area.
- Collaborate with team members on daily tasks.
- Participate in the Continuous Improvement Process.
- Maintain punctual and reliable performance.
What you'll need#
- Active enrollment in a relevant educational program, such as Robotics, Automation, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Technology.
- Experience with mechanical and electrical assembly.
- Proficiency with hand and machine tools, including drills, wrenches, screw drivers, band saws, mills, and lathes.
- Basic SolidWorks modeling skills.
- Familiarity with GMAW, GTAW welding, and plasma cutting processes.
- Interest in interpreting electrical and mechanical prints.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and organize work effectively.
- A tenacious approach to problem solving and an exceptional work ethic.
- Foreign language skills in Spanish, Portuguese, or Chinese are desired.
Location & details#
- Location: Fort Collins, Colorado.
- Schedule: Full-time, rolling term.
- Compensation: $21.50 per hour.
