About the role#
The Student Worker supports the SGA office by managing daily operations and maintaining a professional environment. You will report to the SGA Director and ensure that office activities run smoothly while promoting the vision of the organization.
What you'll do#
- Oversee general SGA office operations.
- Track student attendance by managing the check-in and check-out process.
- Clean and organize office and storage areas.
- Follow established office policies and procedures.
- Look for ways to improve office efficiency and create a welcoming space for staff and students.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a student, preferably in Business Administration or Communications.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use deductive reasoning.
- Clear verbal and written communication skills.
- High level of self-motivation and ambition.
- Ability to build interpersonal relationships and handle unexpected situations.
Location & details#
- This position is located on-site in Lynchburg, Virginia.
- This is a part-time role with rolling start dates.
- Pay starts at $12.77 per hour.
