    About the role#

    This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site in Fort Pierce, Florida. This role offers hands-on training in mechanical, HVAC, and energy design. You will work alongside professional engineers to develop building systems and infrastructure projects.

    What you'll do#

    • Produce detailed layouts and equipment details for HVAC systems.
    • Create one-line diagrams and schematics.
    • Assist the design team in assembling organized drawing sets.
    • Help with data collection and field verification tasks.
    • Collaborate with designers and engineers to develop various aspects of a project.

    What you'll need#

    • Pursuing a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering or Architectural Engineering, preferably as a sophomore or junior.
    • A strong interest in building systems mechanical engineering.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
    • Ability to travel locally for job site inspections and field work.
    • AutoCAD and Revit experience is preferred.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
