About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2027. You will work on-site at a project location to support project planning, management, and closeout. The program runs from June 1, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You will report to a Project Manager and work alongside Project Superintendents.
What you'll do#
- Assist with project planning, buyout, and management.
- Learn Landmark safety and quality management programs to ensure contractor compliance.
- Manage project budgets by controlling expenditures and coordinating billings.
- Maintain RFI logs, change request logs, and meeting minutes.
- Review submittal data and shop drawings.
- Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and submittals.
- Document site progress with photos and daily logs.
- Resolve punch-list issues and assist in obtaining project occupancy.
- Prepare final record documents, warranties, and closeout logs.
- Participate in team meetings and solve project problems.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Building Science, or Architecture.
- Completion of at least one year of applicable coursework.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with computers.
- A collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work as a self-starter with limited guidance.
Location & details#
- Locations: Storrs, Connecticut and State College, Pennsylvania.
- Work modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on market factors.
