About the role#
As a Development Analyst for Summer 2027, you will compile and analyze data to support our development decisions. You will report to Development Associates and contribute to the financial and operational analysis of our residential projects. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Atlanta, Georgia.
What you'll do#
- Underwrite key markets across the United States and monitor ongoing market conditions.
- Build and maintain financial models for potential transactions.
- Provide analysis for key financial aspects of our projects.
- Prepare investment memoranda for internal review and to help raise equity and debt.
- Assist the team in preparing offers for land purchases.
- Monitor critical contract dates and terms.
- Track and categorize project expenses against the budget.
- Perform general analysis and other duties as assigned.
What you'll need#
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Real Estate, Finance, or Business Administration with a strong academic record.
- Demonstrated interest in the real estate industry.
- Working knowledge of real estate financial modeling, including pro forma analysis and cash flow projections.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently with limited guidance.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
- Previous internship experience in Commercial Real Estate is a plus.
- Familiarity with Google Earth Pro, AxioMetrics, CoStar, College House, and Smartsheet is beneficial.
