About the role#
Landmark Properties is hiring Construction Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, paid position where you will work directly on project sites. You will assist Project Managers and Superintendents with the planning, management, and closeout of residential construction projects. The internship runs from June 1, 2027, through August 6, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Learn Landmark processes, procedures, and safety and quality management programs.
- Assist with project budget management by controlling expenditures and coordinating billings.
- Maintain RFI logs, change request logs, and project documentation.
- Coordinate submittals, deliveries, and inspections while reviewing shop drawings.
- Complete daily logs, status reports, and weekly subcontractor meeting minutes.
- Document site progress through photos and reports.
- Resolve punch-list issues and assist in obtaining project occupancy and the Certificate of Substantial Completion.
- Assemble final project record documents, warranties, and closeout information.
- Participate in team meetings and promote professional communication on the project site.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or Architecture.
- At least one year of applicable coursework.
- Strong computer skills and organizational abilities.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- A positive, collaborative attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
- Critical thinking skills and the ability to work as a self-starter.
Location & details#
- Locations: West Lafayette, IN; Madison, WI; Ann Arbor, MI; Minneapolis, MN; and Columbia, MO.
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 1 to August 6).
- Modality: On-site.
- Pay: $21.00 to $24.00 per hour, depending on market factors.
