About the role#
Buckingham Companies is hiring a Construction Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site, paid internship based in Indianapolis. You will work directly with the Construction Department to support our ongoing projects and organizational goals.
What you'll do#
- Shadow the Project Manager and Project Engineer to learn day-to-day operations.
- Complete specific tasks assigned by the project team.
- Support the mission, vision, and values of the company.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a college degree in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- You have a valid driver's license and reliable private transportation.
- You are coachable, high-energy, and eager to learn.
- You possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks with changing priorities.
- You demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and a strong sense of accountability.
- You value teamwork and put customer needs first.
