About the role#
Landmark Properties is hiring Construction Interns for the Summer 2027 term. This program runs from June 1, 2027, through August 6, 2027. You will work on-site, assisting Project Managers and Superintendents with the planning, management, and closeout of residential construction projects. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Learn Landmark project management processes and safety procedures.
- Monitor project budgets, coordinate billings, and track expenditures.
- Manage RFI and change request logs.
- Review submittal data and shop drawings.
- Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and submittals while analyzing their impact on the project schedule.
- Prepare daily logs, status reports, and meeting minutes for subcontractors.
- Document site progress with photos.
- Resolve punch-list issues and assist in obtaining occupancy permits.
- Prepare final record documents and maintain closeout logs.
- Participate in team meetings and recommend system improvements.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, or Architecture.
- At least one year of relevant coursework completed.
- Strong computer skills and organizational habits.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet project deadlines.
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work as a self-starter.
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site role. Potential project locations include Columbia, SC; Charlottesville, VA; Boone, NC; and Charleston, SC.
- Employment is full-time for the duration of the summer program.
