About the role#
As a PMO Strategy & Transformation Intern, you will join our Program Management Office to support strategic initiatives. This role focuses on enhancing the effectiveness and innovation of our project management processes. You will work with senior leaders and cross-functional teams to help shape how we deliver healthcare solutions.
What you'll do#
- Support strategic initiatives focused on the effectiveness, maturity, and innovation of the Program Management Office.
- Research and develop practical AI use cases to improve project delivery, reporting, meeting management, and productivity.
- Analyze PMO processes and recommend improvements to governance, portfolio reporting, project execution standards, and stakeholder engagement.
- Assist in developing a framework for evaluating external vendor, partnership, acquisition, and innovation opportunities.
- Conduct interviews, surveys, and data analysis as part of a PMO health assessment.
- Support the design and organization of PMO knowledge management resources.
- Create executive-ready presentations, dashboards, process maps, scorecards, and recommendations for leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, assess opportunities, and support strategic decision-making.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Healthcare Administration, Life Sciences, or Operations Management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Ability to organize information and create clear, concise documentation.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated curiosity, initiative, and a continuous learning mindset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Interest in healthcare, diagnostics, life sciences, or technology-driven business transformation.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, remote internship for Summer 2027.
- The term runs from June 1, 2027, to August 13, 2027.
- This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
