About the role#
L3Harris Technologies is hiring a Systems Engineering Intern to work on-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This is a full-time, paid position that follows a 9/80 work schedule, meaning you work 80 hours over nine days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Analyze system requirements from users and end systems.
- Develop concept of operations, design plans, and implementation strategies.
- Support the evaluation and development of complex system architectures and designs.
- Create test plans, procedures, and cases, then conduct testing and document the results.
- Use scripting and software tools to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
- Present design status and activity plans to internal and external customers.
What you'll need#
- You must be pursuing a Bachelor degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- Coursework or experience in systems architecture, systems analysis, and design.
- Experience with system performance modeling, project management, or integration.
- Familiarity with Rhapsody.
- Exposure to model-based systems engineering.
