About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship based in Canoga Park, California. You will work on-site with our team to support both new product development and existing factory operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide mechanical engineering support for product development.
- Assist with factory support for existing products.
- Collaborate with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
- Generate and process engineering change orders (ECOs).
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or PhD program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Ability to apply Structural Mechanics principles to predict internal stresses and structural instabilities.
- Familiarity with finite element methods, fatigue, and damage tolerance principles.
- Exposure to CAD or FEA tools is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Canoga Park, CA.
- Work schedule: 9/80 schedule (80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off).
- Pay range: $25.00 to $47.50 per hour.
