About the role#
As a Systems Engineering Intern, you will support the planning, development, and evaluation of system solutions. You will work on technical activities that ensure systems meet both user and program needs. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Salt Lake City.
What you'll do#
- Perform operational analysis and create concepts of operations.
- Create design and implementation plans.
- Write test plans, procedures, and cases.
- Run tests and document your findings.
- Use software tools, scripting, and hardware troubleshooting to resolve issues.
- Analyze system requirements from end users.
- Support the development of complex system designs and architectures.
- Present design activity plans and project status to internal and external teams.
What you'll need#
- You are currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Aviation, or Aerospace Engineering.
- You may also apply if you completed your Bachelor's degree within the last 12 months.
- Experience or coursework in systems architecture, systems analysis and design, system performance modeling, integration, or project management.
- Familiarity with model-based systems engineering and Rhapsody.
Location & details#
- Location: Salt Lake City, Utah.
- Work schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours of work over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- This is a paid internship.
