About the role#
This is a full-time, paid internship for Summer 2026. You will work on-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana, supporting both new product development and existing factory operations.
What you'll do#
- Provide mechanical engineering support for new product development projects.
- Assist with factory support for existing products.
- Work with mechanical designers to develop CAD models and part documentation.
- Generate and process engineering change orders as needed.
What you'll need#
- You must be currently pursuing a bachelor's, master's, or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field at an accredited university.
- Experience with CAD or analysis tools like FEA is preferred.
- Background in the design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms is a plus.

- Location: Fort Wayne, Indiana.
- Schedule: 9/80 work schedule, which includes 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
