About the role#
This is a summer internship for a Mechanical Engineering student. You will work on-site in Palm Bay, Florida, to support new product development and existing factory operations. This position is full-time.
What you'll do#
- Provide engineering support for new product development and factory tasks.
- Collaborate with mechanical designers on CAD models and part documentation.
- Generate and process engineering change orders (ECOs).
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or PhD program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Exposure to CAD or analysis (FEA) tools.
- Experience with mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms.
- Background in gear train, motion control, or AI.

- Location: Palm Bay, FL.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule (80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off).
- Status: Paid internship.
