About the role#
As a Manufacturing Engineer intern, you will work on-site in Waco, Texas. You will contribute to the effectiveness of our manufacturing systems by identifying and implementing process improvements. This role involves managing specific projects under general supervision and coordinating with internal and external contacts to explain operational procedures.
What you'll do#
- Improve systems and processes to solve operational problems.
- Recommend enhancements to increase efficiency in your job area.
- Work toward operational targets for specific programs and projects.
- Manage projects or processes with general supervision.
- Provide guidance and training to other employees when necessary.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor degree program for Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering.
- Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance.
- Experience with soldering or basic electronic manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with CAD software like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Creo.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow or Green Belt certification.
- Experience using statistical software such as Minitab or JMP.

- Schedule: 4/10 shift, Monday through Thursday.
