About the role#
This internship provides mechanical engineering support for new product development and factory operations. You will work on-site in Fort Wayne, Indiana, during the Summer 2026 term. This is a full-time, paid position.
What you'll do#
- Support mechanical engineering tasks for new product development.
- Assist with factory support for existing products.
- Work with mechanical designers to develop CAD models and part documentation.
- Generate and process engineering change orders as required.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor's, master's, or PhD program in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Engineering Mechanics, Materials Science Engineering, or a related field.
- Exposure to CAD or analysis tools like FEA.
- Experience in mechanical design or analysis of electronic systems, structures, and mechanisms.

- Location: Fort Wayne, IN.
- Schedule: 9/80 schedule, which includes 80 hours over 9 days with every other Friday off.
- Term: Summer 2026.
