About the role#
As a Hardware Engineering Intern, you will design and develop electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will work on various tasks related to avionics, RF, LAN, data processing, and power distribution systems. This position follows a 9/80 schedule, where you work 80 hours over 9 days and have every other Friday off.
What you'll do#
- Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, and control panels using CAD tools.
- Research and prepare engineering drawings.
- Coordinate design activities with Systems, Manufacturing, and Production teams to meet requirements at a low cost.
- Support the testing and integration of systems on aircraft.
- Analyze electrical loads and develop load shedding schemes.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit of a Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience or knowledge of CAD and PLM software, specifically NX and Teamcenter.
- Familiarity with Siemens Capital software.
