About the role#
As a Finance Shared Services Intern, you will join the Global Business Services team to support operational goals within the Accounts Payable department. This role involves processing invoices, supporting our customer base, and assisting management with strategic deliverables. You will communicate with internal and external contacts to explain operational processes and procedures.
What you'll do#
- Process invoices and handle exceptions.
- Research and resolve accounts payable issues.
- Support or lead procure-to-pay projects.
- Perform reconciliations and financial reviews.
- Collaborate with other functional groups.
- Participate in process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s degree program for Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite and Outlook.
- Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with limited supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A self-starter mindset with the ability to find solutions when standard processes are not available.
- Proven ability to meet deadlines and targets consistently.
- Experience with a large ERP system like SAP is preferred.
