About the role#
The Electrical Engineering department is looking for a co-op student to join the team as a junior engineer. You will work on hands-on projects, conduct testing, perform analyses, and deliver presentations. This role offers a supportive environment where you can take on technical challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support the design of new and existing products.
- Select parts, capture schematics, and manage documentation.
- Verify, test, and debug circuit card assemblies.
- Analyze product performance and recommend improvements for reliability and cost.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelors or Advanced degree program in Electrical Engineering or a similar field.
- Ability to commit to a 16 month term, with 12 month terms occasionally available.
- Practical experience with electronic design and schematic capture software.
- Familiarity with test equipment including oscilloscopes, multi-meters, and signal generators.
- Strong mathematical, analysis, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- A hands-on, self-starting approach to work.
