About the role#
The Kroger Finance Intern-Supply Chain program is a full-time, 12-week immersive experience. This role runs from January 11, 2027, to April 23, 2027. You will work within the Corporate Supply Chain team and gain exposure to various operational departments including procurement, transportation, and engineering. Interns participate in hands-on projects, receive professional development, and interact with senior leadership.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple supply chain projects while meeting deadlines.
- Conduct supply chain analysis and document best practices.
- Identify and recommend new project opportunities.
- Assist in the creation of process improvement initiatives.
- Partner with teams to deliver supply chain solutions.
- Monitor project risks, develop mitigation plans, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Communicate project status and potential issues to relevant stakeholders.
- Complete a final project summary and present your findings to managers or the executive team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university.
- A major in Supply Chain, Logistics, Purchasing, Transportation, Retail Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Food Science, or Operations Management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently or within a group.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience managing multiple priorities.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Work authorization that does not require sponsorship.
