About the role#
The Kraft Heinz US Manufacturing Internship Program is a 10-week leadership development program designed to grow future supply chain manufacturing leaders. Based in our Garland, Texas facility, this program offers hands-on exposure to end-to-end supply chain execution. Interns will own manufacturing projects, develop key leadership skills, and work to drive supply chain excellence.
What you'll do#
- Collaborate across plant teams, including Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and Supply Chain, to deliver improvement projects.
- Participate in one week of immersive plant onboarding and training on the Kraft Heinz Management System (KHMS).
- Dedicate eight weeks to exploring creative solutions and new opportunities within the facility.
- Conduct an end-of-program presentation for executive leadership.
- Participate in weekly sessions focused on leadership development and Kraft Heinz values.
- Project work may include continuous improvement, safety and ergonomics, quality and compliance, line performance (OEE), cost and waste reduction, maintenance, and inventory execution.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
- Anticipated graduation date between December 1, 2027, and June 30, 2029.
- Interest in growing a career within manufacturing plants.
- Demonstrated passion for continuous improvement, creative problem-solving, ambition, and leadership.
Location & details#
- Location: Garland, Texas (On-site).
- Term: Summer 2027 (June 7, 2027, to August 13, 2027).
- Compensation: $28 USD per hour ($1,120 USD weekly).
- Benefits: One-time housing stipend provided.
