About the role#
KPMG Canada is hiring interns for the Strategy & Operations team within Deal Advisory. This is a full-time, paid internship opportunity based in Montreal. We are looking for students to join us for the Winter, Summer, or Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Contribute to strategic assessments, market research, and competitive benchmarking.
- Develop or support analytical models using Power BI, Excel, and Python to quantify operational and financial value drivers.
- Participate in interviews and workshops to support strategic planning, operational diagnostics, and commercial due diligence.
- Prepare clear and structured business cases and deliverables for clients.
- Create presentations to showcase findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across strategy, finance, operations, and technology sectors.
What you'll need#
- An outstanding academic record in undergraduate or graduate studies, preferably in Management, Business Intelligence, Data Science, or related fields.
- Strong extracurricular achievements such as case competitions or student associations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both French and English, as you will create documentation in both languages.
- Proven ability to demonstrate initiative, sound judgment, and problem-solving skills.
- A strong ability to build relationships with clients, colleagues, and community members.
- Experience or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn tools like Power BI, Python, and Lean Six Sigma.
