About the role#
KPMG Canada is hiring interns for the Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions team. You will support the execution of advisory engagements including divestitures, capital markets, and corporate transactions. This position is a paid, full-time internship offered for the Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027 terms.
What you'll do#
- Help draft transaction documentation like service proposals and confidential information memorandums.
- Prepare integrated financial models to assist with transaction decision-making.
- Identify and reach out to acquisition targets, potential buyers, and investors.
- Communicate directly with clients, advisors, and other counterparties.
- Provide analysis and market studies, including sector research and public company valuation multiples.
- Contribute to business development and deal origination.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate program, preferably in Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
- Technical finance skills, including a solid understanding of financial statements and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Experience with research platforms such as Capital IQ and PitchBook.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in both French and English, as you will create documentation in both languages daily.
- A willingness to learn, conduct research, and acquire new skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work effectively in a team environment.

- Work Modality: On-site.
- Availability: Winter 2027 (January to April), Summer 2027 (May to August), or Fall 2027 (September to December).
