About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring for a Co-op or Intern position within the Assurance or Financial Reporting & Insights team. This role is for a 4- or 8-month term beginning in September 2027. You will gain hands-on experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance while working directly with our professional teams.
What you'll do#
- Apply technical knowledge from your academic courses to active work projects.
- Prepare working papers and financial information for compilation engagements.
- Gather evidence for various Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Communicate regularly with team members regarding project progress and any issues that arise.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program focused on Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- A strong desire to provide high-quality client service.
- Proven leadership skills and the ability to take initiative.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Great attention to detail.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, paid position starting in the Fall 2027 term.
- Work is performed on-site at one of our offices in Kitchener-Waterloo, London, Windsor, Chatham, Strathroy, Woodstock, Guelph, Brantford, or Sarnia.
