About the role#
BDO Canada is hiring a Co-op student or Intern for the Financial Reporting & Insights team. This is a four-month, full-time position running from May to August 2027. You will gain experience in financial reporting, analysis, and compliance while working with our teams in North Bay or Barrie.
What you'll do#
- Prepare and complete working papers and financial information for compilation engagements.
- Gather evidence for Assurance and Accounting engagements.
- Apply technical knowledge from your coursework to daily projects.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
- Communicate regularly with team members regarding your progress and any issues.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accounting degree program with a goal of becoming a CPA.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Proven leadership abilities and a willingness to take initiative.
- A commitment to providing high-quality client service.
- Effective communication skills.
Location & details#
- This role is based on-site in North Bay or Barrie, Ontario.
- This is a paid position with an expected annual compensation range of $39,000 to $50,000.
