About the role#
KPMG Canada is seeking undergraduate students in Business Administration, Commerce, or Computer Science for a Summer 2027 internship within our Risk Services practice. This role is based in our Vancouver and Victoria offices. As part of our Governance, Risk and Compliance Services team, you will contribute to projects that help organizations manage internal controls, enterprise risk, and governance frameworks.
What you'll do#
- Work alongside professionals specializing in financial and operational internal auditing, internal controls, and risk-based analytics.
- Assist in conducting risk assessments and evaluating IT and emerging risk areas.
- Collaborate with executives, internal audit directors, and audit committees to deliver strategic business assurance.
- Support the development of governance functions to identify business opportunities and enhance organizational value.
- Participate in the national Power Up programming to build professional networks and engage in learning opportunities.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate program for Business Administration, Commerce, or Computer Science.
- A commitment to pursuing the Canadian CPA designation, including obtaining required prerequisite courses.
- An excellent academic record.
